I believe that the Edwardson surname hails from Iceland and other scandinavian countries. There are quite a few Edwardsons dotted about in the UK but it is not a particularly common surname.

I have just finished reading '"Never End" and enjoyed it very much. I can't believe southern Sweden could become as hot as described. I found summer there like our springtime.

It's curious to me that so many Swedish crime stories have references to Australia in them. I wonder why this is so.

I shall look for more of Ake's books as they become translated.

The Erik Winter series consists of 10 books, as far as I know. Four has been published, and a fifth is due out this fall in the UK. I also think I saw somewhere that a sixth book is scheduled for publication in 2011. As to the rest, I don't know. But obviously I hope so :)

Will the other ten books that have been published in Sweden, in the Erik Winter series, ever be translated into English?

I have just come across these books by Aike Edwardson and was surprised to find he came from Sweden. My name is also Edwardson but we stem from Shetland. Does he have any connection to Shetland?
